Brian Connolly and his band entered Hatch Farm studio in May 1995 to start work on what would be Brian's final recording. Featuring the line up of Brian Connolly, Glenn Williams, Steve Mulvey, Dave Farmer and Dave Glover, Lets Go was initially released as a standalone album, featuring 9 Sweet classics and 3 new songs, penned by Brian, Glenn Williams and Johnny Earle. The album was then and has since been licensed across the world for compilations and budget releases, as Brian Connolly's Sweet, BC Sweet, or just 'The Sweet' collections. The track listing was made up of songs from Brian's live show at the time, Action, Teenage Rampage, Ballroom Blitz, Wig Wam Bam, Little Willy, Burn On The Flame, Fox On The Run, Hellraiser and Blockbuster, and supplimented with 3 new songs, Lets Go! and Do It Again, written by Brian, and Wait 'Til The Morning Comes, which was written by Glenn. The original CD cover featured new artwork, a photograph of the band taken backstage at a gig in Dresden, fan club information and a merchandise order form. A wide range of merchandise was produced to coincide with the release, including T Shirts, Bags, Belt Buckles, Lighters and Pens. The original release is long deleted, but you can buy the album at Amazon as 'The Sweet Blockbusters' for under £3, by clicking on the LETS GO icon above or below.
